We are grateful for the generous support from the PA Department of Education and The Foundation for Delaware County

Teachers’ Teammates has received two grants that are making a HUGE difference in our operations:

• Our membership costs are going down!
• And delivery on all orders is now included!

We are incredibly grateful to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (DOE) for selecting us for a $75,000 grant and to The Foundation for Delaware County for its $20,210 funding so we can deliver all orders to teachers’ schools.

Beginning October 1, 2023, membership is just $40 for TWO years. This is a cost savings of $30 per teacher*, defrayed in part by the DOE grant.

Thanks to The Foundation for Delaware County, this year orders placed online through our store will be delivered to schools, saving the need to make a trip to our Folcroft warehouse. We know that journey has been a barrier for many teachers, and are delighted to be able to provide this service.

Thanks to Senator Tim Kearney and his Chief of Staff, Sara McCullough’s advocacy for teachers and students, Teachers’ Teammates was awarded a grant from the DOE. The grant helps us expand our work-study program, so our Program Operations Manager can spend more time with students studying warehouse management and students who are volunteering at our warehouse to acquire work and life skills experience in preparation for independent living and to enter the workforce. We count on the students and other clients of local nonprofits to help keep our Folcroft facility organized and orders filled.

Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers! So far, Teachers’ Teammates has moved more than $1.3 million in donated supplies into Delco classrooms.
