Bob is a CPA and founding owner of Brinker & Simpson Certified Public Accountants and Advisors in Springfield. Giving back to communities is a fundamental part of the Brinker Simpson culture, and that’s what led Bob to Teachers’ Teammates. He first visited our Folcroft warehouse when he and his staff delivered office supplies they no longer needed and to present a donation check from his office’s monthly “dress down” fundraiser. Bob’s daughter is a teacher in the Upper Darby School District, and he is active in supporting many charitable organizations in Delaware County.
Bob enjoys the world of small business and is especially proud of the success of many companies he’s advised, from start-up operations to 2nd and 3rd generations. Bob has also taught Entrepreneurial Courses at a local college and consults on budgeting and finance issues with many local charities and nonprofit groups. He is serving as Treasurer for Teachers’ Teammates.
Bob has a varied background in entrepreneurial pursuits and established the firm in 1989 when he decided he could simply do things better. Bob has also owned retail businesses, entertainment, and computer consulting firms. As a Partner at the firm, Bob focuses primarily on tax strategies and succession planning.
Bob’s forward-thinking leadership and proactive management style have significantly contributed to the firm’s success, brand, and expansion. His guidance has helped the firm move from a small, local firm to the regionally recognized, award-winning business it is today.
Bob has three grown children and loves spending time at the beach. If not at the office, he can be found there with his wife Eileen during the summer.
