Frequently Asked Questions
Supplying Students and Teachers With the Tools They NeedWho is eligible to become a member of Teachers’ Teammates?
All educators working in a public, charter, or parochial school in Delaware County, PA where at least 65% of the students qualify for the National Student Lunch Program. This includes all schools within the boundaries of the following school districts: Chester-Upland, Chichester, Interboro, Ridley, SEDelco, Upper Darby, and William Penn. See the complete list of schools here.
Can educators other than classroom teachers join Teachers’ Teammates?
Yes, any classroom or specialist teacher, principal, school counselor, school nurse, school librarian or school administrator can register to shop in our online store.
What is the cost?
Thanks to a grant from the PA Department of Education, membership is only $40 for a 24-month term.
How often can a member shop?
Once per quarter: January thru March, April thru June, July thru September, October thru December.
How many products can a member include in an order?
25 items can be added to a cart. Each item may have a limit i.e. 30 three-ring binders, 30 pencils, etc.
Can members place an order for less than 25 items and then sign back in to place a 2nd order during the same quarter to make up the difference?
No, the software allows you to place one order per quarter no matter what number of items you order. If you don’t see 25 items that you would like to order all at one time, sign out and check back in a few days to see what’s been added. Updates are made nearly every day OR ask a colleague to choose what they would like to add to your order so you can place an order for a total of 25 products.
Can members ask for something they do not see in the store?
We want to know what educators need. Send special requests to info@TeachersTeammates.org. We can’t promise to acquire it but we will do our best. We don’t always know what unusual product a teacher can use and are happy to find it for you if we can. We have had bug collections and fossils donated!
How can members earn a Bonus Shop?
Refer a colleague who joins Teachers’ Teammates and email to let us know it was you who sent them. We’ll add a Bonus Shop to your account which means you can place an extra order during that quarter for 12 items.
When will my order be delivered to my school?
Our goal is to deliver all orders within two weeks of it being placed. Our delivery days are typically Wednesdays and Thursdays. We often can deliver within one week but it may be longer during extra busy times of the year such as late August, early September and January. If a member needs something sooner, they can contact Operations Manager, Holly Weber at 610-273-8222 ext. 1 to make an appointment to pick it up at our warehouse.
Can someone or an organization sponsor the cost of membership for a particular teacher, school or district?
Yes, contact Raelyn Harman at info@TeachersTeammates.org or call 610-273-8222 ext. 2 to make the arrangements.
What are the age limits for volunteers?

To volunteer at the warehouse, children 1st grade through age 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult such as a troop leader. Youth, ages 13-17 can volunteer at the warehouse with a signed parental consent form on the Volunteer Registration Sheet.
FOR SAFETY, ALL VOLUNTEERS AT THE WAREHOUSE MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOED SHOES.
